Trifextra 84 – Natural Born Leader

Doggie whines from his garden tether.

On the sofa he reposes,

The impudent loft of his crown

Emanating domination,

King Cat is in residence –

Ruler of all he surveys.

These 33 words forms my entry into the Trifextra 84 writing challenge.

I have a 100 lb rhodesian ridgeback, a horse, and two cat angels (loki and gryphon…rip)
my dog loved the cats ..the feeling was not mutual:)

Cheers Kymm. Yeh, just thought the cheeky angle of the crown on the cat’s head displayed a certain something…loft came in quite handy after initially seeming an awkward word to use.

That photo is adorable! I have three cats (let me rephrase: 3 cats allow me to provide them food and shelter, and to reside under the same roof with them) and they do know how to rule 🙂

Cats are amazing beasts. One the one hand they are totally independent, yet on the other utterly reliant on their humans. A house isn’t a home without a cat – corny cliche perhaps, but true for me.

This is fabulous! I miss living with cats (half my family is allergic to them). You’ve captured that cat sense of entitlement and dominance beautifully! 🙂

Glad you liked it Ivy. Confession time: Your comments section line about “A kitten dies if people don’t post” inspired the cat theme…so thanks!
